The Cunningham and New England Highway intersection is a significant crossroad north of Warwick. The project involved building an overpass for motorists travelling south, bridge clearances of over 6 metres, construction of 1.5km of new roadway and 2 new culvert structures. 

CGC provided the geotechnical advice, slope analysis and temporary works design for this highway project. We designed the temporoary working platforms for the installation of bridge girders and analysed the slope stability of the cuts and culverts using geotechnical modelling software and ground investigations to determine the optimal construction method.
